GSU Falls to Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Georgia State was defeated 8-0 in five innings Wednesday at Kennesaw State.

The Panthers mustered five hits but were held scoreless as the Owls used a four-run third and three-run fourth to pull away before scoring the game-ending run in the bottom of the fifth.

Emily Brown went 2-for-3 at the plate and Sydney Stavro, Bailee Richardson, and Skylar Mosel each entered the hit column as well.

Next up for Georgia State is a three-game road series at ULM starting May 1.

The Panthers will close out the regular season at home against Georgia Southern May 6-7.
