ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast Driven by Ford returns for Episode 60 as we welcome back former kicker Brandon Wright to the podcast. Wright joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about his time with the Georgia State football program and now his career in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams.
Wright was a four-year starting punter who handled punts, placements and kickoffs for his final two seasons for the Panthers. He played in 49 games, equaling the GSU record for games played and was a member of all three bowl teams in Georgia State history at that point. He joined the program in 2015 as a walk-on and was awarded a scholarship before the 2018 season. After graduation, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars in April 2020 before eventually signing with the Rams.
