Allen Named GSU Student-Athlete of the Week

ATLANTA – Corey Allen is this week's GSU Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the men's basketball team to a win on Monday.

Allen just missed the second triple-double in program history while leading the Panthers to an 80-51 win over Voorhees College on Monday night.

Allen finished with 11 points, tied a career-high with 13 rebounds, and recorded a career-high eight assists in 26 minutes of action. Allen knocked down three 3-pointers while also swiping three steals and blocking one shot.

The All-Sun Belt Preseason First Team member is averaging 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

The Panthers will return to action on Tuesday night facing Mississippi State at 8 p.m. ET on SECN+ and WRAS-FM 88.5.
