Introducing Zully Douglass, New Cross Country Coach

Zully Douglass will coach cross country and the distance runners for track & field.

ATLANTA -- Zully Douglass is the new Georgia State cross country/track & field assistant coach as announced by head coach Kyle Stevenson this week. Douglass will lead the cross country squad and coach the track & field distance runners.

We caught up with Douglass to get to know the newest member of the Panther Family.

Where were you born?
Miami, Fla.

Where did you go to college?
THE University of Miami - THE U

Best memory from college:
Traveling with my teammates and South Beach relaxation.

What was your first job after school?
Teacher's assistant

What was your major?
Educational Leadership specializing in World Languages

What makes Atlanta special?
The diversity

Interests outside of work:
Reading, hiking, music, and fashion

Why do you enjoy working in college athletics?
The positive environment and the comradery.

What are you most excited about at Georgia State?
I'm excited to learn about coaching on this level, Coach Stevenson, Ramsey and Marshall have already welcomed me and are diving into helping me with the transition.
