Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship Begins Monday

The Panthers will compete for a conference title Monday and Tuesday in Birmingham.

ATLANTA -- Georgia State's indoor track and field team will compete for a Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship Monday and Tuesday at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala. 

A full schedule of events can be found here. The championship meet will begin at 10 a.m. ET and continue through Tuesday with the awards presentation scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

There will be ESPN+ coverage on Monday starting at 5:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday beginning at 3 p.m.

Entering the meet, GSU has several student-athletes that rank Top 5 in the Sun Belt this season in their individual events. Angela Alonso has the best time in the Mile and second best time in the 800m. Lotte Meyberg has the top mark in both the 3000m and 5000m. Alexus Shaw ranks second in the Triple Jump and Jordyn Braswell ranks third in the 60H.
