ATLANTA-- Georgia State track and field announces the 2026 indoor and outdoor track schedules, the first track season under the new leadership of head coach Charnay Ryland.
The Panthers open the season with back-to-back trips to Birmingham, starting with the UAB Balzer Invite on Jan. 9, 2026. They return to Birmingham the next week, this time at Samford to compete in the Samford Open on Jan. 19, 2026.
Following the two trips to Birmingham, the Panthers then hit the road to Clemson to run in the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 30, 2026.
The Panthers are then back in action in Birmingham at the beginning of February to participate in the UAB Green and Gold Invitational on Feb. 7, 2026, and the Samford Bulldog Invitational on Feb. 13, 2026.
The Panthers wrap up their indoor season with a final trip to Birmingham to compete in the Sun Belt Indoor Championship on Feb. 23, 2026.
The outdoor season will open with a visit to the University of South Florida on Mar. 20, 2026.
The next week, the Panthers will travel up I-75 to participate in the Don McGarey Invitational at Kennesaw State on Mar. 27, 2026.
The Panthers will also visit fellow Atlanta schools, Emory & Georgia Tech during the month of April at the Emory Dooley Elite Meet on April. 4, 2026 and the Georgia Tech Invitational on April. 17, 2026.
The Panthers wrap up the outdoor season at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships in Mobile, Ala on May. 14, 2026.
