Women's Basketball to Open Season at Georgia Tech

The Panthers are slated to play seven non-conference games.

ATLANTA -- Head coach Gene Hill announced the 2020 women's basketball non-conference schedule Thursday highlighted by the season-opener at Georgia Tech on Nov. 25.

Both men's and women's basketball will face the Yellow Jackets that day with the women's game tipping at noon.

After a road trip to Nashville to face Tennessee State on Dec. 2, the Panthers return home to host Furman on Dec. 6 and Life on Dec. 13.

Georgia State travels to Athens to play Georgia on Dec. 17 before wrapping up the non-conference schedule with the GSU Holiday Classic. The Panthers will play Western Carolina (Dec. 20) and Chattanooga (Dec. 21) as part of the four-game tournament that also includes Georgia Southern.

The Panthers start conference play Jan. 1 against Coastal Carolina.
