Meyberg, Panthers Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

GSU's cross country team earned the top GPA for the fall among 237 teams listed.

NEW ORLEANS -- Lotte Meyberg and the Georgia State cross country team earned USTFCCCA academic honors for the 2019 fall semester, the USTFCCCA announced Thursday.

The Panthers were named an All-Academic team which requires a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Among 237 teams listed, Georgia State's 3.92 team GPA ranked No. 1 in the country.

Lotte Meyberg, who won the 2019 Sun Belt Cross Country Individual Championship, was named an All-Academic Athlete by the USTFCCCA. 

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
