ATLANTA – Senior Nina Interwies was named to the Academic All-District 4 team the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday.

Interwies earned President's List honors all four semesters at Georgia State after transferring in 2014. Not only did she excel in the classroom, but Interwies found success in the sand as well. Last season, she led the team in wins with a 28-5 record and helped lead Georgia State to its first national championships appearance.

In 2016, Interwies played in the top two flights for the Panthers and tallied a 23-10 mark and guided GSU to its second consecutive tournament bid.

Interwies is a marketing major and earned both All-CCSA honors as well as a spot on the CCSA All-Academic Team in her senior year.
