John Kelly made his move to Georgia State from the University of Nevada and spent last year at GSU as a redshirt.
The 6-5, 240-pounder will be making his move this summer to earn a spot on the GSU defensive line and make a major contribution in sacking quarterbacks and tackling ball carriers.
The Norcross, Ga. native was a standout defensive end and tight end for the Blue Devils of Norcross High here in metro Atlanta. He then enrolled in the 10-month program at the Naval Academy Prep School in Newport, R.I. in 2009-10.
