Six Georgia State seniors played their final home game at the GSU Sports Arena Tuesday versus Old Dominion. The Panther seniors were honored in a pregame ceremony.
XAVIER HANSBRO:
"A 6-10 post player, XAVIER HANSBRO is Georgia State's fourth-leading scorer and rebounder while ranking second on the team in blocked shots. He has recorded 13 double-figure scoring games in his career, with a high of 21 points earlier this season, and he has pulled down five or more rebounds in 20 games.
"The native of Trezevant, Tenn., came to Georgia State after two seasons at Ole Miss. Xavier is majoring in psychology, and he will earn his degree this spring.
"He is the son of Sylvia Webb."
TREY HAMPTON:
"A two-year starter, TREY HAMPTON is enjoying a strong senior season, both offensively and defensively. The 6-7 forward is the Panthers' second-leading rebounder and third-leading scorer.
He currently ranks among the Colonial Athletic Association leaders in free throw percentage and blocked shots, and he will finish his career among Georgia State's Top 10 in career blocks.
"A native of Hoover, Ala., Trey spent two years at Ole Miss before coming to Georgia State, and he has already earned his degree in sociology.
"He is parents are Dawn and Terry Hampton."
JOE DUKES:
"Georgia State's leading scorer the last two seasons, JOE DUKES is one of the most versatile guards in the Colonial Athletic Association, ranking among the league leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and field goal percentage. He will finish his career among the Top 10 in Georgia State history in all-time assists and steals.
"As a junior, Joe became just the second Panther player to be named All-CAA, and he is poised for all-star honors again this season.
"The 6-1 native of Cuthbert, Ga., came to Georgia State after two years at Wake Forest. Majoring in sociology, he will earn his degree this spring.
"Joe is the son of Mattie Cotton."
KEVIN LOTT:
"A 6-7 forward from Atlanta, KEVIN LOTT is a valuable contributor who has started 26 games in his career. Known for his defensive ability, Kevin has also contributed six double-figure scoring games, highlighted by 14 points against both Georgia Tech and Towson.
"In 2009 Kevin received the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Award for his work in the classroom. Majoring in public policy, he will earn his degree this spring.
"Kevin's parents are Barbara and Richard Lott."
OUSMAN KRUBALLY:
"A crowd favorite at the Sports Arena, OUSMAN KRUBALLY is known for his hustle, determination and energy. He is enjoying a very productive season, leading the Panthers in rebounding while providing key baskets. One of the highlights of Ousman's career was his game-winning layup last season against Northeastern.
"Off the court, Ousman has received the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Award, and he is a nominee for the Dean Ehlers Leadership Award.
The Atlanta native will graduate in May with his degree in marketing. Ousman is the son of Diana Forster and Ousman Krubally."
TRAE GOLDSTON:
"One of the most prolific shooters in Georgia State history, TRAE GOLDSTON ranks second in the Panther record book with nearly 200 career treys. The 6-foot guard stands in the top 15 on Georgia State's career scoring list with 1,025 points, and he is one of the most accurate free throw shooters in GSU history at better than 80 percent.
Twice named CAA Player of the Week, Trae has hit three-game winning three-point shots in his career for victories over Northeastern, UNC Wilmington and Old Dominion.
The native of Decatur, Ga., will graduate this spring in public policy.
Trae's parents are Shelley and Dale Goldston."
