ATLANTA--The Georgia State men's basketball team will hold walk-on tryouts for members of the student body on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. at the Georgia State Sports Arena.

Tryouts are open to current GEORGIA STATE STUDENTS ONLY. You must be enrolled this semester as a full-time student in good academic standing.

All tryout participants must REGISTER by Sept. 22 in order to complete paperwork for NCAA compliance, academic standing and medical clearance.

In order to register for tryouts, please print the attached registration form, complete all information and take it to the Georgia State basketball office, located on the first floor of the Sports Arena, Suite 102. After visiting the basketball office, tryout candidates will be directed to the sports medicine, academic services and compliance offices, all located in the Sports Arena.

Please do not wait until Sept. 22 to begin the registration process. If you do not complete all necessary paperwork by the Sept. 22 deadline, you will not be permitted to participate in the tryouts. NO EXCEPTIONS. No walkups will be allowed to participate.

Tryouts will begin promptly at 5 p.m. on Sept. 24. Dress is shorts, t-shirt and basketball shoes.
