Georgia State University Athletics

Scott Sarratt joined the Georgia State Department of Athletics as the Director of Grounds and Facilities in October 2016. The former Georgia State baseball standout returned to his alma mater following three years away from the program.

In his role, Sarratt oversees the facilities in Panthersville, including the baseball and softball complexes, while maintaining all athletic surfaces for proper safety for all student-athletes.

Sarratt returned to Georgia State following two seasons working with the Gwinnett Braves as a part of the field crew and one season working as the Manager of Athletic Facilities at Georgia Gwinnett.

Sarratt graduated from Georgia State with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He is originally from Statesboro, Ga., but now calls Atlanta home.
