Georgia State University Athletics

Samuel Obi, originally from Jonesboro, Ga., joined the Georgia State staff as a graduate manager in the summer of 2020.

A graduate of Samford University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Obi was a student manager on the men’s basketball team for two years.

During his time with the program, he assisted in scouting and video breakdown, player development workouts, and various day-to-day tasks.

In his senior year, he completed an internship with Samford’s Center for Sports Analytics.

He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in business analysis.
