Georgia State University Athletics

Kota Nakano joined the Georgia State University Athletic Training staff as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2021.

Nakano came to Georgia State from the University of Central Missouri where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at UCM he worked with the football, baseball, track & field, and women’s soccer programs.

Originally from Osaka, Japan, Nakano is currently pursuing Masters in Exercise Science while at Georgia State. After working with the football team in the fall of 2021, Nakano will be working with men’s soccer this spring.
