Georgia State University Athletics

Josannah Vazquez joined the Georgia State University athletics department as an academic advisor in May 2024. 

Prior to arriving at GSU, Vazquez was a part of the Florida State University (FSU) Fellowship Program during the 2023-24 school year. She served as a graduate assistant academic advisor at East Tennessee State University Athletics Academic Support Team in 2022-23 while she pursuing her master's degree in sports management

Vazquez graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a bachelor’s degree in human biology in 2021. Throughout her time at USC, she was a student-athlete on the beach volleyball team, highlighted by a national championship in 2021. She was heavily involved in USC’s SAAC organization as an executive member where she served as the secretary.

Vazquez is a native of Mansfield, Texas.
