Charlie Flint, a Georgia State graduate and football letterwinner, joined the Georgia State athletic staff as director of facilities and operations in July 2023.
Flint returned to GSU after one year as an Associate Director of Facilities and Events at Rice, where he was responsible for the event management of the men’s basketball, soccer, track and field, and cross country teams.
Before going to Rice, Flint had stints in facilities and event management with Miami and Georgia Tech.
Flint graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State while earning his degree in sports administration. He was a four-year letterwinner for the football team, making his first career start in the Panthers upset of Tennessee in 2019. Flint also served as the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Georgia State.Â
