Morgan is a professional track and field athlete for his native Grand Cayman Islands, competing in the Commonwealth Games international event in August 2014. He competed as an NCAA student-athlete at Middle Tennessee State, 2006-08.

In addition to earning a bachelor's degree from MTSU, Morgan earned a master's in exercise science and health promotion in 2010 from that school.

An elite long jumper, he has trained under coach Dwight Phillips in Atlanta.Morgan has coached multiple summer camps in the Cayman Islands, developing younger athletes. 

Morgan came to the U.S. in 2004 to compete at Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky. He became a 2006 NAIA All-Americana and was a national qualifier in 2005 and 2006, both indoor and outdoor.

At MTSU, he was a NCAA national qualifier in 2007, also both indoor and outdoor. His MTSU team won the Sun Belt championship in 2007 when he was second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump.
