Fall 2008: Competed in five out of six meets during the cross country season...Ran a season-best 19:11.05 at the 5K Crimson Classic to finish 21st out of 75 runners...Placed 144th out of a field of 265 at the 5K Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 19:45.15.
2007-08: During the indoor season, she placed 3rd in the 300m at the Niswonger Foundation Invitational with a time of 10:54.43...Competed in the 5000m at the Virginia Tech Challenge, running a time of 19:33.30...During the outdoor season, she posted a season-best 4:51.53 in the 1500m at the UGA Invitational...Finished at CAA Championship, running a 24:06.0 time...Earned CAA All-Academic honors...Named to the spring Athletic Director’s Honor Rolls.
2006-07: In her sophomore season, Stephanie ran in the top 7 for the Panthers in the regular season...At the highly competitive Greater Louisville Classic, the sophomore finished with a time of 20:19 for 5k, her best finish of the cross country season...In outdoor track, Stephanie won her heat in the 3,000m with a time of 10:53.02 at the Charlotte Invitational and ran a personal best of 19:05.03 for 5,000m at the Georgia Tech. Invitational...Poore also finished 9th place in the 3,000m steeplechase at the CAA Championship meet.
2005-06: Stephanie opened her freshman season at State competing in six cross-country meets...She posted a season-best time of 19:55 in the 5K at the Georgia Collegiate Championship...She placed 23rd at the CAA Cross-Country Championship for State with a time of 23:35 in the 6K race...Stephanie set a season-best time (5:02.62) in the 1500m at her first outdoor track meet, the Florida State Opener. She also set a season-best time of 11:50.93 in the 3000m Steeplechase for 10th place at the CAA Track & Field Championship...Stephanie’s grades earned her a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Commissioner’s Academic Award.
Prep: Stephanie lettered in cross country and track all four years for the Tigers of Douglas County High School...She was a two-time county champion in cross country and was the region champion as a junior...In track and field she was a three time county champion in the 3200 meters and won the 1600 meter championship as a junior and senior.
