ACADEMIC HONORS: Is in the Honors College at Georgia State with a major in pre-marketing.
TRACK and FIELD 2015
Outdoor season saw her post a 5:12.79 in the 1,500m run at USF...Ran the 5,000m run in two meets and had 19:28.99 at Georgia Tech.
During indoor season, ran the 800m and mile...Had best 800m time of 2:30.02 at ETSU...Had top mile time of 5:32.79 at ETSU.
CROSS COUNTRY 2014
Competed in five of the seven meets during freshman season...Best finish was 14th place at JSU Foothills Invitational in 19:32.42...Opening collegiate meeet was a 29th-place finish at Western Carolina Invitational...Finished 33rd at Winthrop Invitational in 20:11.65...Was 163rd of 292 runners in Alabama Crimson Classic...Her first Sun Belt Conference championship race was a 73rd-place effort.
PREP
Set four school records in the 5k, 3,200m, 1,600m and 800m for coach Brad Wilson...Was Region 5, AAAA champion in cross country (2013), 3,200m (2013 and 2014) and 1,600m (2014)... Had a best time of 18:40 in cross country as senior...Clocked 11:35 for top 3,200m time and 5:20 for best 1,600m run.. Sixth in state cross country meet in 2012 and 11th in 2013...Honor graduate.

Born Sarah Grace Bearden on July 1, 1996 to Ken and Cindi Bearden...Has older sister Jessica...Grew up in LaGrange, Ga., about 60 miles south of Atlanta...Goal is to major in business and perhaps become a Nike sales representative...Earned Dean’s List honors in fall of 2014.
