Biography

Outdoor Track and Field 2011: Saw plenty of action for State, competing in six meets...Finished fifth out of 21 jumpers in the long jump at the Gem of the Hills Invitational with a 5.40m mark...Earned a point in the triple jump for the Panthers by placing 9th at the CAA Championships, jumping 11.22m...Ran the 200m, competed on the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams and performed the long jump in the Georgia Intercollegiate...Participated in the 100m in the Yellow Jacket Invitational and CAA Championships...Also performed in the long jump event at The War Eagle Invitational, Mississippi Open and CAA Championships...Earned a spot on the Dean's List for the Spring 2011 semester for her academic achievements.

Indoor Track and Field 2011: Saw time in the JRF Combined Events Invite...Placed third in the shotput with a 10.23m mark...Placed fourth in the high jump at 1.46m...Tied for seventh in the long jump leaping 12.24m...Participated in the 60m hurdles.

Alabama State (2008-2009): Was the SWAC Hepthalon Champion in 2009 with a combined total of 4,239 points winning the heptathlon shot put, javelin and long jump events...Earned 1st team All-SWAC in outdoor track and field in 2009.

Prep: Graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School in May 2007...Competed in softball, basketball and track and field...Specialty was the heptathlon...Best performances were 57.04 in the 400-meter run, 24.96 in the 200-meter run, 38-00 in the shot put and 37-01 in the triple jump...Was a member of the junior Olympic 4x400 team that was runner up at nationals in 2005 with a time of 3:43.
