Biography
2005-06: Karen participated in the shot put during the indoor and outdoor season of her first competitive year. She made her season-best throw of 34’9.5” at the Jacksonville State Invitational.
Prep: Karen attended South Cobb High School where she was a four-year member of the track and field team and the volleyball team. In 2002, Karen was the region winner in the 300-meter hurdles. She was also voted best defensive blocker on the South Cobb Eagles volleyball team.
Personal: Karen was born on August 14, 1985, in Columbus, Ga. Her parents are Robert and Francella Robinson. Karen has two brothers Robert, 31, and Sean, 17. She also has three sisters Sonjanique, 33, Victoria, 23, and Vanessa, 19.
