Nia Christie joins the Georgia State track and field program as a volunteer coach after completing her collegiate career at Clemson University, where she was a four-year All-ACC Academic selection.

A member of Clemson’s horizontal and vertical jumps group, Christie competed in the long jump, triple jump and high jump, with a primary focus on the high jump during her junior and senior seasons. She was a consistent scorer for the Tigers in the event and earned a third-place finish in the high jump at the 2024 ACC Outdoor Championships. That same year, Christie advanced to the NCAA East First Round in Kentucky. During the 2025 indoor season, she was part of Clemson’s women’s team that captured the ACC Indoor Championship.

Christie graduated with honors from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in business management, concentrating in human resources, and a minor in communications. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in business administration and health administration at Georgia State.
