Hannah Keeling

Hannah Keeling was named head coach for Georgia State women's tennis in July 2021 after serving as head coach at Missouri State for a season. In her first year coaching for the Panthers, Keeling led GSU to a remarkable turnaround season that saw the team claim a share of the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season title for 2022. Posting a 2-19 record a season prior, the Panthers charted a 17-6 overall final record for the season with a 9-1 finish in regular season conference play. 

Under Keeling's leadership, four members of the team were named All-Sun Belt for spring 2022. Senior Eva Chivu received All-Sun Belt Singles First-Team honors, while senior Andreea Stanescu and junior Angel Carney each received All-Sun Belt Singles Second-Team honors. Carney and partner Sofya Golubovskaya received All-Sun Belt Doubles Second-Team honors, and Carney was additionally named the Sun Belt Conference's Player to Watch for 2022. The Panthers advanced to the SBC Tournament semifinals before falling short of victory facing a nationally ranked UT Arlington. GSU had previously downed the top-ranked conference foe, 4-2, on the road in Arlington on April 3.
 
As head coach at Missouri State, Keeling led the Bears to a 12-10 record that spring that including a runner-up finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships. MSU's 4-1 record in conference play was its best mark in over a decade. Two of her players were named to the All-MVC team and a third was honored on the All-Select team.
  
In three seasons at Georgia Gwinnett (2018-20), Keeling helped coach team and individual NAIA national champions, including back-to-back NAIA team titles for the Grizzlies’ men’s and women’s teams in 2018 and 2019. After the 2019 women's championship, she was named the ITA South Region Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year. Among the individual standouts she helped coach were 2018 NAIA women's singles national champion Madeline Bosnjak and 2020 ITA Cup winner Maria Genovese. During Keeling’s time at GGC, the men’s and women’s programs compiled a record of 117-3 with 15 All-Americans.

Keeling played collegiate tennis at Clayton State University from 2012-15 and earned All-Conference honors in 2013 (Second Team) and 2015 (First Team). Keeling also received All-Conference Doubles Second Team honors for 2015 and was named PBC Player of the Week in the same season. Keeling was ranked Top 20 for singles in NCAA Division II and helped the program reach a national ranking as high as No. 4 for the 2012-13 season.
 
Keeling earned a bachelor’s degree in health and fitness management from Clayton State in 2015. Still active as a player, Keeling competes in the International Tennis Federation’s professional circuit and in several pro-am charity events throughout the United States.

Keeling has also served as the director of the Stars of the Future program at Ginepri Performance Tennis in Marietta, Ga., where she helped develop junior players for the collegiate and professional levels. In this role, she worked alongside long-time pro player Robby Ginepri, who reached No. 15 in the ATP rankings, and WTA/ATP coach Jason Parker.
 
Keeling was a top-ranked junior player in the United Kingdom while playing for Hampshire, England and went on to play in the women's French national circuit. Originally from Southhampton, England, Keeling has called Atlanta home for more than 10 years.
