Carney charted a team high 18 wins with only 2 losses for the spring at singles courts No. 4 and No. 5... Earned a 14-5 record pairing with Sofya Golubovskaya at the top doubles court... Carney tied the school record for consecutive wins in a season with a 17th straight victory against UT Arlington in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament semifinals... Was named the Sun Belt Conference Player to Watch for 2022... Earned All-Sun Belt Doubles Second Team partnering with Golubovskaya as well as All-Sun Belt Singles Second Team for 2022...Earned Sun Belt Player of the Week honors on Feb. 23... Carney was twice named GSU Student-Athlete of the Week (Feb. 21, April 25)... Helped lead the Panthers to a historic turnaround season that saw the team post a 17-6 final record for the spring and claim a share of the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Championship

Carney registered a 4-7 record in singles action...Split time between positions No. 2 and 3...Earned a win over Liberty on court three in the first match of the season...Recorded a 1-2 performance in Sun Belt action with a win over Georgia Southern on court two...Carney partnered with Alexia Alvarez, Maddy Frediani, and Denisa Gheorghe in doubles action...Accumulated a 6-7 overall record in doubles action...Carney earned one doubles win with Gheorghe over Georgia Southern...Found five victories with Alvarez, including two over Sun Belt opponents Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State

Compiled a 2-8 record in singles action as a true freshman...Split time in lines three and four...Earned wins over VCU and Kennesaw State...Earned a 5-5 record in doubles play...Partnered with Damira Muminovic, Alexia Alvarez, and Eva Chivu...Won three matches with Chivu and two with Alvarez...Season was shortened due to COVID-19.

Fall 2019 
Compiled a 2-4 singles record during the fall season...Defeated Luba Vasilyuk from LSU in a tiebreaker during the Miami Fall Invite...Picked up a doubles victory with partner Eva Chivu...The duo defeated a pair from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Prep
Attended Laurel Springs Academy in Ojai, Calif... Competed in USTA and Southern Tennis Tournaments from ages 8-18... Won the doubles national championship on clay in 2012... Reached the round of 16 in singles and quarterfinals in doubles in the clay championships in 2017... Was awarded the Georgia Junior Player of the Year Award in 2013 and the Hardie Family Junior Sportsmanship Award in 2017... Ranked in the top-12 in singles and doubles in the Southern District.
