2016: Played and started in 16 games for nearly 1,450 minutes on the field … Scored one goal this season, the game-winner against Alabama A&M … Helped lead the team to nine shutouts, the second most in program history for a season … Fired four shots with one on goal.

2015: Made 21 starts and played over 1,900 minutes ... Had nine total shots and a career-high of two shots against UL Lafayette (9/27) ... Posted one shot in the 2-1 win against Texas State (11/4) in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament ... Was a main anchor for the defensive line, winning the majority of her aerial battles ... Helped the team keep a fast pace of play and was one of the first lines of defense of the team.

2014: Appeared in 16 matches, including 13 starts this season as a true freshman … Totaled more than 1,328 minutes played … Made two appearances as a substitute to open the season before working her way into the starting line-up … Then started the 13 of the next 14 matches for GSU before being sidelined by injury … Finished with five shot attempts and one on target this year … Attempted first career shot at Kennesaw State (8/25) and first shot on goal at Troy (10/17) … Also registered shots against UL Monroe (9/28), Little Rock (10/3) … Georgia Southern (10/12).

Prep: Three-year letterwinner as a defensive midfielder and center back at Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga. … Led team to three-straight state championship games from 2011-13 … Played club soccer for Concorde Fire ECNL under coach Brian Moore … Selected to the starting 11 of the ENCL Dallas All-Event team from hundreds of athletes in her age group … Team was U14 state cup champions, Region 3 Premier League regional semifinalist in 2010 and state cup semifinalists … Member of PALS at her high school.

Personal: Kenzie Brianne Winters was born Jan. 8, 1996 in Fayetteville, Ga. … She is the daughter of Michelle and Brian Winters… Has one older brother, Seften, who is enlisted in the Navy … When she is not playing soccer she likes to draw and hang out with friends … Plans to major in exercise science.
