Mandy Schneider

Mandy Schneider was named Interim head coach in November 2011 after serving three season as assistant coach. Schneider came home to Georgia State from Jacksonville University, where she helped lead the Dolphins to a 9-9-2 (6-4-0) season, a conference tournament berth, and a trip to the Atlantic Sun conference semi-finals in 2008 as an assistant coach to Brian Copham.

Schneider began her collegiate coaching career at Jacksonville in 2007 and helped the Dolphins to a 5-5-1 conference record and their fourth consecutive A-Sun Tournament berth.

Serving as assistant, Schneider has helped lead the Panthers to back-to-back winning seasons. In her second year as assistant, she aided in guiding GSU to its first-ever Colonial Athletic Association tournament appearance and its best record in the CAA since joining the competitive conference in 2005.

In addition to her duties as a member of the Georgia State women's soccer coaching staff, Schneider lends her expertise to Inter-Atlanta Youth Soccer as coach to a U-14 girls squad.

In 2006, Schneider coached several club teams at the Tophat Soccer Club in Atlanta. Schneider also worked locally, in Jacksonville, with the Westside Soccer Club as the Director of Girls' Select.

A four-year letterwinner at Georgia State from 2002-05 as a center midfielder, Schneider started 44 of 78 games while leading the squad to consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament appearances in 2002 and 2003. As a senior team captain, she enjoyed her best season by leading the team with six assists while also tallying three goals and 12 points. She finished her career with six goals, 14 assists and 26 points.

Schneider graduated from Georgia State with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in psychology in 2006.
