Fields Brown

Fields Brown is beginning his first official season as volunteer coach with the Georgia State women’s soccer team. Brown worked briefly with the Georgia State women’s soccer team in the 2009 season helping to coach the goalkeepers.

Brown currently works as with the Rockdale Youth Soccer Association where he has served as assistant director of coaching and academy director since June 2009. Prior to working with RYSA, he was the women’s soccer assistant coach at Wofford College from 2005 to 2009. During his time spent at Wofford, Brown was in charge of the day to day running of the women’s soccer program which included recruiting as well as training and preparing the team.

Prior to his collegiate coaching career, Brown coached several club teams at the Carolina FC and Carolina Elite Soccer Association in Spartanburg, S.C. and has also assisted with soccer camps at the University of North Carolina, Clemson University, Western Carolina University and Rice University.

Brown graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2005 and received a master's of arts in teaching from Converse College in 2008. He currently holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National Diploma and NSCAA National Diploma.
