Georgia State University Athletics

Celeste Brown has been a member of the Georgia State athletics staff since 2013 and is currently serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. She is working primarily with the GSU women’s soccer team after previously working with the Panther football program in 2013.

Born in Tucson, Ariz. and raised in Marietta, Ga., Brown graduated from Georgia in May of 2013 with a B.S. in athletic training. While at Georgia, Brown worked with the Bulldogs’ cross county, football, swimming and diving, track & field and women’s soccer teams.

Brown, who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), is currently working toward a Master of Science in sports medicine from GSU and expects to graduate in May of 2015.

She is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the State of Georgia Department of Health and a Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification. Brown is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is also a certified emergency medical responder by the American Red Cross.
