Erica Wein enters her second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf Programs. Wein, who graduated in May 2005 with a degree in Management, was a two-year member of the Panthers’ team.

The Morrisville, N.C., native, transferred to Georgia State after spending two years on the women’s golf team at N.C. State. Wein helped the Panthers clinch their second Atlantic Sun Conference title and NCAA Regional berth in 2005. She was named First Team All-Conference during her senior season and to the All-Tournament Team her first year with the Panthers in 2003-04.

Wein ranks among career leaders in lowest single-season stroke average (5th-76.67), single-season top-10 performances (2nd-seven) and is the school record holder for lowest second-round score with a 68 during the 2004 A-Sun Championships. She has four top-five finishes, 10 top-10 finishes and 17 top-20 finishes for her career. Her top finish was at the 2005 UNCW Lady Seahawk Invitational with a second-place showing. While at N.C. State, Wein was a member of two straight NCAA East Regional teams.

Wein is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Administration at Georgia State.
