Ana Costa joins the GSU Beach staff as the Director of Operations while pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics, with a specialization in Big Data and Machine Learning. With a remarkable background in collegiate athletics, Ana stands out as a former collegiate athlete who competed at St. Petersburg College, Stetson University, and the University of California, Berkeley.

During her career as a student-athlete, Ana was named a two-time All-American, a Pac-12 standout, and a three-time ASUN Conference Player. Academically, Ana's commitment to excellence culminated in a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, with minors in Political Science and International Business. Her academic prowess helped her to a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive years. Ana has embraced coaching as part of her journey. Notably, she served as the Head Coach for Campbell Hall High School's team, leading them to a historic playoff appearance. Ana's coaching experience extended to the Golden Gate Club, which, under her guidance, achieved the distinction of being ranked as the #1 club in California following a victory in the State Beach Club Tournament. Nationally, Golden Gate reached an impressive #3 ranking.
