Hawes charted a 23-16 overall record for the season at flights No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3... Posted a 21-14 record pairing with Eden Hawes at flights No. 2 and No. 3... Collected two additional wins and a 2-2 record pairing with with Yasmin Kuck at the top two flights entering the season... Downed nationally ranked opponents nine times including No. 1 ranked UCLA in Gulf Shores on March 19 and No. 2 TCU in the second round of the the NCAA Championship in Gulf Shores on May 6... Secured victories over No. 7 Grand Canyon in the first round of NCAA Championship play on May 4 and No. 13 FIU in the second round of the inaugural Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship on April 28... Compiled 25 digs in the team's match against Grand Canyon at the NCAA Championship— ties for seventh most all-time in NCAA tournament history... Downed nationally ranked opponents Florida Gulf Coast, FAU, FIU, Tulane and South Carolina in regular season play... Helped lead the Sandy Panthers to a historic 2022 season and NCAA Tournament run highlighted by the first ever C-USA Beach Volleyball Championship and an upset over second-seeded TCU to advance to the NCAA round of six... The win over TCU notched a school-record 28th victory for the Sandy Panthers and marked the largest upset in NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship history, the first time GSU has secured a second victory in NCAA Tournament play throughout the history of GSU athletics across all sports and tied the school record for highest-ranking victory in GSU athletics history... The team's No. 7 ranking for the final AVCA Coaches Poll marked the highest finish in a Division I Collegiate Poll for any team in GSU sports history

2021

Recorded a 15-21 performance...Only player to compete in each of Georgia State’s duals...Played in the top flight in each appearance...Partnered with Bailey Hatchett and Maddy Delmonte...Earned a 2-1 record with Hatchett...Finished with a 13-20 record with Delmonte...Recorded a 6-14 performance in CCSA action...Earned two wins over ranked conference opposition...Defeated top pair from No. 11 FAU at the Tiger Beach Challenge on March 6...Bested No. 20 Tulane at the NOLA Classic on March 20...Defeated Southern Miss at the CCSA Tournament to close the season

2020 

Participated in all 14 of GSU’s duals with partner Maddy Delmonte...Competed on courts one and two...Compiled a 10-4 record...One of six Panthers to earn 10 wins this season...Defeated opposition from No. 10 FIU to open the season on Feb. 22...Earned a 2-3 record against CCSA opposition...Took down CCSA foe, College of Charleston, at the Creekside Beach Classic on March 8... Took down five consecutive opponents in straight sets...Earned two wins at the annual Day of Duals on March 10...Season was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019

Was 24-12 on the season, one of three Panthers to participate in all 36 duals, and one of eight Panthers to win 20 matches... Competed in the top two flights with Georgia Johnson and Maddy Delmonte... Won 11 matches in the number one flight with Johnson... Defeated the top pairs from TCU, Tulane, and Grand Canyon... Finished the season going 13-5 with Delmonte playing in the top two flights... Defeated the number two pairs from Arizona State, College of Charleston and FAU... Moved to the top pair prior to the CCSA Tournament... Defeated the top pair from South Carolina earning the Panthers a bye into the quarterfinal round... Clinched the deciding point in a win over FAU's top pair in the quarterfinal dual in a three-set thriller... Bested the top flight from No. 3 Florida State in the CCSA semifinals. 

2018

Participated in 21 of 36 dual matches in her freshman season… Won 11 matches on the season, most among freshmen… Was 9-8 in dual play with partner Ashley McGinn… Added two more wins with fellow freshman Ashley Bauchert...Earned her first career win on February 23 with Bauchert in three sets over Stetson… Won in the five position with McGinn over pairs from No. 7 LSU, and No. 8 South Carolina… Also picked up impressive wins over North Florida and Tulane.

Prep

Hawes has placed first at the USAV National Championships and the CBVA Pacific Palisides... Ranked third in the USAV... Finished top two in 13 tournaments...Named AVCA Beach High School All-American Honorable Mention.

Personal

Eden is the daughter of David and Angela Hawes... Born 7/19/1999...She has one younger sister...Intends to major in Biology.
