Tied for 11th in the CAA stats in runs scored (27)...Had 13 multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI games...Received CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the spring semester.
2005: Team leader in hits, run scored, total bases, slugging percentage, and RBI...Played in every game and started all but one...Had two hits, two RBIs, and a stolen base in win over Tennessee Tech to start season (2/12)...Had five three-hit games on the season, with multiple RBI coming in win over Saint Francis-PA (3/2), and Belmont (4/24)...Also had three hits against nationally-ranked Auburn (3/29)...Homered in back-to-back games against Lipscomb (4/23) and Belmont (4/24), with the homer against Lipscomb providing the only run of the game...Had four stolen bases in five attempts.
2004: Team leader in stolen bases in ‘04...Led team with 10 multi-hit games...Had six-game hitting streak...Had four hits over two games against Drexel 2/28-29/04...Drove in game-winning RBI in 1-0 win over Saint Joseph’s 3/7/04...Doubled home a run against Ball State 3/18/04...Doubled and scored against Tulsa 3/19/04...Singled, doubled, and scored twice against Georgia Southern 3/31/04...Singled twice, scored a run, and had an RBI in win over Lipscomb 4/26/04...Had an RBI in each of her final games of the season.
Prep: A four-year letter winner for the Milton High School Eagles and head coach Gigi Whiteside...Team captain for the 2002 season, Mary Kathryn earned Best Defensive Player honors during that season...Also played for the East Cobb Bullets, where she batted .341 in 2003 with 37 RBI...Her best individual performance came in the 2003 ASA State Tournament when she connected for two home runs in the same inning...She was a member of the 2002 All-Tournament team at the ISA World Series, in addition to being named Roswell/Alpharetta Athlete of the Week in 2002 with Milton and North Fulton Athlete of the Week in 2001...Her East Cobb team placed seventh twice and fourth once in the ASA Nationals.
