HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Dekalb ISD… Lettered all four years… Won MVP of Dekalb HS 4x, District 14 Player of the Year 2x, District Pitcher of the Year once… Set the school strikeout record… Junior year recorded a 1.3 ERA with 280 strikeouts and hit .574 with 11 home runs… Senior year recorded a 1.43 ERA with 241 strikeouts and hit .489 with five home runs… Made All-District in volleyball junior and senior years.
