Biography

Michael Watson was named Ticket and Membership Sales Director in December of 2015 to coordinate ticket sales and Panther Athletic Club Memberships while working closely with athletics marketing and promotions to enhance customer service and maximize revenue.

Prior to joining Georgia State Athletics, Watson served as a Corporate Sales Executive with Atlanta Motor Speedway. He also worked with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions at various properties in a variety of roles. He served as the General Manager at Georgia State and Troy University and as an Account Executive at the University of Tennessee. While at Troy, Watson also served as the Interim General Manager for Corporate Sponsorships with IMG College.

Watson earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies at the University of North Carolina in 2009 and is a native of Hickory, N.C.
