Assistant equipment manager Luke Garrett is in his second year on the Georgia State staff. He originally joined the program in July 2014 as an intern and was elevated to assistant equipment manager in 2015.

Garrett previously worked at UL Monroe, where he was a volunteer assistant equipment manager while serving as a graduate assistant in the kinesiology department.

In the summer of 2013, he worked as a training camp equipment intern for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Garrett was a student equipment manager with the Tennessee Tech football program from 2006-11. He also served internships with the women's basketball program, athletic administration and marketing department at Tennessee Tech.

Garrett is a 2011 graduate of Tennessee Tech with a bachelor's degree in education. He completed a master's degree in exercise science at UL Monroe in 2013.
