Georgia State University Athletics

Karai Lockley has worked with the Georgia State athletic department since 2012 and was promoted to assistant business manager for student services in July 2014. She began as a contractor for the university by working in enrollment services and also in front office operations before joining the athletics staff fulltime in 2013. Her current role includes helping coordinate all accounts payable functions for the athletic department and administration of all student service functions including processing scholarship checks for all student-athletes.

Previously Lockley also was a contractor for The News Group and CBeyond and was an associate financial systems analyst at Turner Broadcasting System from 2006 to 2007.

After graduating from Hampton with a bachelor’s in business management, Lockley began her career with Lowman Group as accounts payable manager from 2004 to 2006. Lockely is pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration with an anticipated graduation date in 2015.
