Georgia State University Athletics

Gina Knutson joined the Georgia State staff as a graduate assistant in the Facilities and Operations office in August 2013. Prior to Georgia State, Knutson lettered four years in softball at Delaware, where she was named to the 2011 All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team. Knutson also was a recipient of the Myles Brand Memorial Award during her time with the Blue Hens. The award is given to student-athletes who achieve a cummulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.

In 2013, Knutson worked as a gameday promoter for the Atlanta Falcons. She did various activities with the promotion crew, including distributing t-shirts during games. Knutson received her bachelor's degree from Delaware in May 2013 in the field of sport management.

She is pursuing her master's degree in sports administration from Georgia State. Knutson is from Elmhurst, Ill.​
