Georgia State University Athletics

Delvin Jones currently serves as assistant business manager for travel and has been with the Georgia State Athletic Department since 2011. In this role, Jones coordinates team travel for all 16 varsity teams, including prospecting, bidding, and contract negotiations. He is also responsible for recruiting travel for coaches and potential student-athletes visiting the Atlanta campus.

Before coming to Georgia State, Jones worked for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2010 to 2011, serving in the operations and special events department. He also owns experience working with the Tulane football team as volunteer assistant to the director of football operations in 2010 and with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs in events and customer relations from 2009 to 2010.

Jones received his bachelor’s degree in mass communications and public relations in 2006 from Xavier University of Louisiana, and added a master’s in sports management from LSU in 2010.
