Fourspring Named to CoSIDA's Academic All-District Team

ATLANTA - Georgia State beach volleyball's Jessica Fourspring was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large team this week by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Fourspring earned a 4.10 GPA as an Exercise Science major. The Greer, S.C. native will continue her education at the University of South Carolina's physical therapy school this fall.

Fourspring posted a 21-14 record playing primarily at the No. 2 flight and went 10-2 with partner Haley Pa'akaula. She recorded 62 total victories for her career and was instrumental in Georgia State's back-to-back National Championship appearances in 2015 and 2016. Fourspring also notched marquee victories over Pepperdine, LSU and Stetson on the season.

She was also named to the CCSA's All-Academic Team along with Pa'akaula.

Georgia State placed multiple student-athletes on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the second straight year, with five Panthers being honored earlier this month.
