Trent and Bridget Miles Sending 100 Students to Cure Bowl

ATLANTA-With a push to send as many fans and students as possible to the AutoNation Cure Bowl to follow the Georgia State football team, head coach Trent Miles and wife Bridget announced that they would purchase 100 tickets for students to go the game.

Coming off an impressive 34-7 win over Georgia Southern on Saturday, the Georgia State football team will face San Jose State in the Cure Bowl in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. It will mark the Panthers first bowl appearance – reaching the mark in just six years after the program launched in 2010.

“The support from the Panther Family has been tremendous since our arrival at Georgia State three years ago,” Miles said. “Bridget and I want to give back and support the students as we look to fill up the Citrus Bowl with blue and white. The students have been a big part of our success and we want them to share in the moment. Family is very important to Bridget and myself and Georgia State is a huge part of our family”

The first 200 students to arrive at the Georgia State basketball game on Saturday wearing a Georgia State shirt will have the ability to sign up for a free ticket to the bowl game. Trent and Bridget’s 100 tickets will be combined with the 100 bought by Ron and R.J. Hunter to send as many students to Orlando as possible.

The offer is valid only to current Georgia State students with a valid Panther ID and must be wearing Georgia State gear.

Students will be able to sign up for the free ticket at a marketing table on the third floor concourse of the GSU Sports Arena beginning at 1 p.m. Tip time against the Monarchs is set for 2 p.m. Students are admitted free to all home Georgia State events.
