ATLANTA-The first 500 fans to arrive at the Georgia State men’s basketball game on Tuesday against Middle Tennessee will receive a free Ron Hunter bobblehead.

The collectible features Hunter sitting on a stool which was how he coached in the NCAA tournament. Hunter injured his Achilles in the Sun Belt Conference tournament celebration after the Panther defeated in-state rival Georgia Southern. Hunter famously fell off the stool after son R.J. hit a 30-foot 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to shock No. 3-seed Baylor and advance the Panthers to the third round of the tournament.

The bobblehead was produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and are individually number to only 2,015.

Upon entering the GSU Sports Arena, fans will receive a voucher which will entitle them to pick up their bobblehead starting at halftime of the 7 p.m. tip-off. Doors to the GSU Sports Arena will open at 6 p.m.

Georgia State is currently 5-2 and has won 11-straight at home, the third-longest streak in program history. The game with Middle Tennessee will be the final non-conference home game of the year before the Panthers open defense of their Sun Belt title on Dec. 30, at UT Arlington.

For tickets, call the Georgia State ticket office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 404-413-4020 or visit GeorgiaStateSports.com.
