Outdoor 2016: Participated in the preliminary round for the 100m and 200m at the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships and clocked a 12.27 and 25.0, respectively… Placed second in the 4x100m with a time of 45.32… Won the 100m with a personal best time of 11.87 at the 2016 Western Carolina University T&F Invitational… Won the 4x100m with the time of 46.71… Placed second in the 200m with a personal best time of 24.29...Participated in the 4x100m team that placed third at the Georgia Tech Invitational clocking a time 45.72 and won at the Tiger Track Classic running a time of 45.55… Clocked a 46.54 to win the 4x100m at the Lady Gamecock Quad Meet (JSU)... Set a personal best in the 400m running a 1:02.26 to place fifth.

Indoor 2016: Apart of the 4x400m relay team that ran 3:47.05 to place third at the Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships… Clocked a time of 24.66 in the 200m to place seventh… Placed sixth in the 200m running a time of 25.05 at the Chipotle Marshall invitational… Competed in the 55m, 200m and 4x400m relay at the ASU Invitational… Recorded a personal best in the 55m preliminarily running a time of 3.36… Clocked a time of 7.75 in the 60m at the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker to set a personal best… Apart of the 4x400m team that placed ninth at the David E. Walker Kickoff Classic and tenth at the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker.

Prep: Steward transferred to Georgia State from ADA College in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She earned a spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship meet as a sprinter in the 60m dash and with the 4x100 relay team.

With the Avengers of ADA, Steward had a 7.81 indoors in the 60m, a 12.05m in the 100m, a 24.94 in the 200m and a 1:01.54 in the 400m run. Her 4x100 relay team was 11th at the national championships in 47.83.
