2016: Started four games as a true freshman and appeared in nine games total… Derry’s first career hit and first career run came on Feb. 26 vs. Eastern Michigan… First career RBI came at App State on April 16.

Prep: Was a four-year letterwinner at Hillgrove High School under head coach Laura Voyles ... Played mostly at third base and shortstop, but also played several other positions when necessary ... Led her team to the state playoffs each season and helped Hillgrove finish third in 2011 and second in 2014 ... Had a very successful travel softball career, winning several championships with the West Cobb Chaos and finishing fifth at nationals with the Georgia Force in 2012 ... Also played travel softball for the Atlanta Vipers.
