Biography
Outdoor Track & Field 2011: Continued to thrive in the 400-meter hurdles, winning the 2011 CAA Championship in the event and earning All-CAA honors...Set a personal record in the event with a 58.90 in the finals...Also ran the last leg of the All-CAA 4x400-meter relay team at the CAA Championships...The team finished third in the event with a time of 3:45.99...Advanced to the NCAA East Regionals in 400 hurdles...Best regular season finish in 400 hurdles came at the Yellow Jacket Invitational where she second out of 10 hurdlers...Participated mainly in the 400 hurdles and 4x400 relay, but also saw action in the 100-meter hurdles and the 4x100-meter relay...4x100 relay placed seventh at the CAAs to earn two points for GSU.
Indoor Track and Field 2011: Competed in four meets during the 2011 indoor season...Helped form the 4x400m relay that won the event at the Mountaineer Open with a time of 3:54.13...Raced in another squad that competed at the New Balance Collegiate Invite...Saw action in the 500m dash at the Penn State National and New Balance Collegiate Invites as well at the Orange and Purple Classic...Participated in the 60m hurdles at the New Balance Collegiate and Penn State National Invites.
Outdoor Track & Field 2010: Switched to the hurdle events during the outdoor season and completed an impressive freshman year that earned her All-CAA accolades in the 400m hurdles...Finished second in the event with a time of 1:00.57...Finished fourth in the 100m hurdles at the CAA Championships with a time of 14.24...At the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, placed 14th in the first round of the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.54...Finished 9th of the 25 hurdlers in the 400-meter hurdles at the USA Outdoors with a time of 1:00.82, just missing qualifying for the finals by .18 seconds...Finished seventh at the War Eagle Invitational in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:02.40...Finished sixth at the Georgia Invitational in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.77.
Indoor Track & Field 2010: Competed in three meets during the indoor season running the 60, 200 and 400-meter runs...Ran a time of 9.32 at the Clemson games meet in the 60m during the indoor season...Ran 1:00.50 in the 400m at the ETSU Niswonger Invitational.
Prep: Graduated from Lancaster High School in Cedar Hill, Texas in the spring of 2009...Lettered four years in track...Qualified for the USA Junior Nationals in the 400 and 100 hurdles...Part of 2008 4x400 state championship team.
Personal: Danielle Marie Hill was born May 31, 1991 to Lisa Hill in Kansas City, Mo...Has three brothers, David, Anthony and Josh, and two sisters, Bailey and Madison...Chose GSU over several other offers because of the new and exciting environment...Majoring in film and video.
