Outdoor Track and Field 2011: Did not compete during the outdoor season...Earned a spot on the A.D.'s Honor Roll during the spring semester.
Indoor Track and Field 2011: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Cross Country 2010: Competed in one meet during the year running a 17:01 at the Struts JSU Opener 4K...Named to the A.D.'s Honor Roll during the fall semester.
Prep: Graduated from the Marist School in the spring of 2010...Lettered four years in softball and two years in track...Served as team captain for both the softball and track teams...Helped lead softball team to two state championships during her career...Was a two year region finalist in the 400 meters, 4x400 relay team, and 4x100 relay team...Part of 3rd place finish in state championships for the 4x400 relay team...Helped 4x800 team set a Georgia state record...Academically was a part of the National Society of High School Scholars and an Honor Roll student.
Personal: Cameron Ashlyn Taylor was born January 19, 1992 to Jim Bob and Robyn Taylor...Older brother, Cooper Taylor, plays football at Georgia Tech...Father played football at Georgia Tech under current Panther coach Bill Curry and also went on to play for the Baltimore Colts in 1983...Enjoys watching movies, painting, and cooking in her free time...Chose GSU because it was the right fit, athletically and academically, and for the coaches.
