Biography

Career: Served as a captain her senior season ... Notched four goals and two assists for 10 career points ... Landed the game winner in 2009's victory over Georgia Southern and in win over Gardner-Webb in 2010 ... Named twice to the President's List and four times to the Dean's List.

2011: Served as a team captain ... Played in 16 games for Georgia State, starting five ... Registered an assist on the equalizing goal in the Panthers' 2-1 double overtime win over UNC Wilmington ... Fired three shots on the season, including two on goal in games against North Florida and UNC Wilmington ... Named to the Dean's List fall semester.

2010: Played in all 21 games of the Panthers' season and started in all games against CAA opponents ... Notched two goals on the season, one in the 2-1 victory at Gardner-Webb and one in the 3-2 loss to Delaware ... Took 10 total shots on the season ... Named to the Dean's List fall semester and President's List spring semester.

2009: Scored the game-winning goal in Georgia State's 1-0 victory over Georgia Southern... Finished the season with two goals and four points... Started 13 of 18 games on the year... First goal of the year came in the Panthers' 4-3 win against North Florida... Named to the Dean's List in the fall and the President's List in the spring semester.

2008:  Played in 16 games, starting one... Scored her first career goal in a win over conference rival William & Mary... Added one assist to bring her season point total to three... Took seven shots with two on goal... Named to the Dean's List.

Prep: Was on Top Drawer Soccer's 150 best "Players to Watch List" from 2002 through 2008 ... Served as a team captain for Somerville High School in New Jersey during her senior season... Accumulated 43 goals and 73 assists in her high school career... Scored game-winning goal to give her school its first ever sectional title in the Group 2 state playoffs ... Earned All-State, All-Area, All-Group, All-County, and All-Conference honors... Was an honor roll student... Was a member of the ranked PDA Power team that climbed as high as second nationally ... Team was Region 1 Champions and USYSA National Championship Finalist in 2005 ... PDA Power won the New Jersey State Cup 2001, 2002, 2006, and 2008... PDA Power advanced to the 2008 regional semi-finals.

Personal: Lindsay Alexandra Mortellaro was born April 2, 1990 ... She is the daughter of Donna Morello ... Has an older brother, Justin ...
