Outdoor Track and Field 2011: Saw time in five meets for State...Steady participant in the 800m, performing the event in the Gem of the Hills Invitational, Georgia Intercollegiate, Yellow Jacket Invitational, Mississippi Open and the War Eagle Invitational...Best result came at the Gem of the Hills Invitational, placing eighth out of 32 runners...Also helped form a 4x800m relay team at the Georgia Intercollegiate that placed second out of five teams...Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Spring 2011 semester.
Indoor Track and Field 2011: Participated in a pair of meets for the Panthers... Ran the 800m at the Clemson Invitational and finished ninth with a time of 2:31.00...Also ran event at the Tiger Paw Invitational and Mountaineer Open.
2010 Cross Country: Competed in three meets in first season as a Panther...Opened the year with a 24th place finish out of 53 runners at the 4K Struts JSU Opener with a time of 16:11...Finished 29th out of 63 runners at the GSU Invitational 5K with a time of 23:53.07...Finished 19th out of 77 runners at the Oglethorpe Invitational 5K with a season best time of 22:21.31.
Prep: Graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in the spring of 2010...Competed in track and field, volleyball and basketball...Track and field team MVP from 2008-10...Basketball MVP in 2008 and 2010...Nominee for school Athlete of the Year from 2007-10...Best track performances include 59.06 in the 400-meter dash, 2:14 in the 800-meter run and 4:53 in the 1,500-meter run...Basketball team was city champions three years in a row...Named to the honor roll all four years.
