GREENVILLE, SC  — Georgia State officially kicked off its cross country season at the Bruins XC Night Classic 4k/6k on Friday evening.

The Panthers placed seventh overall as a team with a 1:26:41 time. Leading the pack was senior Mencia Maruri who clocked a 15:26.9 time finishing fifth overall.

Second on the leader board for Georgia State was sophomore Destinee Frink finishing eighth overall with a 15:54.4 time.

MEET NOTES: 

- London Cox finished with a 17:01.6 time. 

- Kyla Ramey finished with a 18:38.6 time. 

- Alaysha Holsey finished with a 19:42.8 time.

 

The Panthers will head to Huntsville Ala. to compete in the Southern Showcase meet on Friday, Sept. 18th.
