ATLANTA – Georgia State midfielder Sunniyah Tucker has been named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Tucker played a key role in two Panthers wins this past week. On Thursday, she recorded a goal and two assists in a 4-1 road win over West Georgia. She assisted Abby Batts' game-winning goal in the 81st minute.

On Sunday, Tucker recorded a goal and an assist in a 2-0 home win over Gardner-Webb. Her goal served as the game-winning kick, scored in the 64th minute and she assisted Brielle Delgado nine minutes later to put Georgia State up two for good.

On the week, Tucker recorded seven points across two goals and three assists and led the team with 11 shots and six shots on goal. 

This is the first time she has been named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week in her career.
